I build systems that move a lot of traffic, and I stick around to run them.

For the last seven years that meant high-volume ad delivery and web push at PushPros and Digital Media Solutions. I was the primary architect of the PushPros platforms, translating company leadership's business goals into technological solutions. The biggest of those was PushNetwork, a predictive ad delivery service that grew to over half a billion impressions a day, and earned our partners five- and six-figure monthly revenue from ad content served to their audiences. I built the revenue dashboard, the campaign management system, the serverless install path around it, the third-party advertiser integrations, and the predictive analytics strategy that drove user engagement optimization.

In 2025 I transferred to DMS's lead-marketplace team, which provides services to national insurance carriers. I retired a legacy lead delivery platform and replaced it with a configurable channel router, which mapped 13 CRM integrations across 21 vendor configurations. I proved the cutovers each step of the way, so partners saw no change. Underneath it, I modernized the stack: PHP 7 to 8.1 and Symfony 2.7 to 6.4, five major framework upgrades on a codebase with 14,000 commits of history. Each upgrade was validated with a robust test suite before moving to the next. Then I ran the same migration on a second marketplace, and that one was completed in days rather than weeks.

I pay attention to what things cost. I cut a Kinesis Firehose bill by 35% by tracing it to payload volume, replaced a paid monitoring service with an in-house metrics solution, and I'm the sole developer on a full-fledged gymnastics web app that runs for under $100 a month on AWS.

I'm comfortable owning a feature end to end: conceptualization, planning, design, development, testing, and ongoing maintenance. I've led teams of up to six developers, interviewed technical hires, and helped mentor and delegate work to those who are looking to grow within the company. I enjoy handing real work to someone who's ready for it, and then seeing it through with them.
