Online platform that allows users to submit gymnastics routines. Over 23,000 routines reviewed by nationally certified judges. Includes video playback with timestamped feedback for deductions and bonuses.

MeetCritique is an online platform for gymnastics routine reviews. A family uploads a meet video, a nationally certified judge scores it, and the gymnast gets the routine back with every deduction and bonus timestamped to the moment it happened, along with the judge's notes.

Judges score in real time as the video plays. Each deduction or bonus is a single click, logged at that timestamp and placed on a timeline as a marker the judge can drag and annotate, with the score updating live. The judging queue only offers videos in the sports and levels each judge is approved for, across USAG, NCAA, AAU, Xcel, and Elite, and prioritizes FastTrack and FullSend members' videos.

Gymnasts get synchronized playback: each of the judge's notes appears at its moment, alongside the score, the written notes, a clickable event log, and a PDF export. MC Reel turns a finished review into a standalone video with the notes and score burned in and a pause at each note, for sharing on Instagram with the family's permission or keeping as a permanent copy. Reels require real image composition, so they render with FFmpeg on AWS Lambda.

The same core platform powers SkillCritique for single skills, Podium for virtual meets with leaderboards and medals, the FullSend membership, dance, and a REST API for the MeetFreak mobile app.

Infrastructure costs are kept low (ask me how low). Uploads are compressed once by AWS MediaConvert, judges' marks render client-side instead of being burned into the video, reels render on Lambda only while a job is running, and raw uploads are purged on a schedule. Security hardening cut bot traffic from about 1,856 requests daily to 7, added two-factor authentication for admins, and reduced page loads from as long as 77 seconds to about 1.6.

Sole developer and architect. I designed the platform working directly with the owner, and I continue to maintain it: security, updates, and the business analytics it runs on, covering users, revenue, usage, and hosting costs.
